Illustration for 50x50 Helvetica exhibition.
50 artists took part in the show celebrating 50 years of Helvetica. Each artist was given a year from 1957-2007 to illustrate a moment from history in their given year. I was given the year 1960. 1960 was the year Elizabeth Taylor made the film Butterfield 8 for which she won her first oscar, which is what my illustration celebrates.
